Crossed another state line today. Morning was foggy and the weather cool as it stayed in the high 60’s and low 70’s all day. Got hit with rain for a good part of the day and it was worse the closer we got to Providence. Traffic was light and the terrain was to our liking with mild uphill climbs and some good downhills. River trails were beautiful and we had lots of them. Staying at another AIRBNB and our host is really gracious and nice. Was able to find a bike shop in Providence so we stopped and got my bike some new front pads and some lube for our rusty chains (Our chains are not liking this weather). Upon arriving at our home for the night I realized I left my helmet at the bike shop, ugh. So we got Tina settled in the house and I rode back to retrieve it. Thank god it was only about 1.5 miles round trip. After that we showered and went to a really cool neighborhood and had dinner. A ton of restaurants all up and down one street. As I write this it is 8:15 PM and we have a uphill day tomorrow to Putnam, Connecticut so off to bed we go.

Omg you and your donuts! Did you get a mochaaaaaaa?

I saw Bryran’s brother and sister today. I gave them a copy of the email you sent me. They will join your bilke rides blogs I think. They also have your telephone number off of you”re email. Bryan’s brothers name is David. his cell phone number is 830-446-1581. His email address is dbagwell@gvtc.com. I don’t know if you do not already have this info. I’m a little confused about the gvt.com in his email address but I don’t believe i have the email sent to him mentioned above as being returned email to sender.
Continue having fun.

Looks like a great ride. In the old days we would cut a wine cork in half and tape it to the brake shoe. 🙂 Glad you were able to get the real thing!
