Flat. Thats what we imagined the terrain to be when we laid out our plans. However when on a bike there is no such thing. Yes, we did have hills today. Nothing to drastic but nothing we expected. The days are warming up so the heat we are feeling. Had more road riding today which was kind of nice to be on asphalt and off the bumpy gravely trails but roads come with cars so there is a trade off. Saw more cyclists today going in both directions. One cyclist we met at our hotel this morning was headed to Macedon as well and told us off a hotel he was staying at. Since we have a long day tomorrow Tina thought it a good idea to get a room instead of camping. This saves us some time in the morning since we dont have to break camp and the hotel was 3 miles further today so that is 3 miles less tomorrow. Thank you Mike for the suggestion and safe travels. Tomorrow will be our longest day, about 66 miles. If we make it through tomorrow we will make it through the week, well thats what I keep telling myself.
